INGREDIENTS

- Antigen: Aftopor vaccine contains virus FMD types O,A in inactivated form and homogenized

Type O, A, C, Asia 1, SAT 1, SAT 2, SAT3.

1 dose contains at least 6DP50 per titre (see label)

Adjuvant: double oil emulsion (DOE): water in oil, all in water.

INDICATIONS

For the active immunization of pig, and ruminants against virus FMD infection

DOSAGE

- Mix the medicine solution thoroughly by rotating the bottle about 20 times before using it.

- By intramuscular: It is better to inject in the neck, right behind the ear in pigs and in the neck in front of the shoulders in ruminant animals.

Dosage: Regardless of cattle's age and weight, see the label.

ADMINISTRATION

Low risk areas for foot and mouth disease:

First vaccination for cattle born to unvaccinated mothers:

• Pigs, sheep, goats: injecting the whole herd from 14 days old: one injection. If the time of raising cattle is more than 6 months: 2 injections spaced 4-5 weeks apart. Repeat vaccination every 6 months. Goats and sheep older than 1 year, are re-vaccinated once a year.
• Calves: injected the whole herd at 14 days old: 2 shots, 4 to 5 weeks apart. Re-vaccinate once every 6 months.

First vaccination for cattle born to vaccinated mothers:

• Pigs, sheep, goats: vaccinate the whole herd at 2.5 months of age: one injection. If the time of raising cattle is more than 6 months: 2 injections spaced 4-5 weeks apart. Re-vaccinate every 6 months. Goats and sheep older than 1 year are re-vaccinated once a year.
• Calves: Inject the whole herd at 2.5 months of age: 2 shots, 4 to 5 weeks apart. Re-vaccination every 6 months.

Areas with a high risk of infection of the mouth and mouth disease:

First vaccination for cattle born to unvaccinated mothers:

Inject the whole herd from 14 days of age: Inject 2 shots at intervals of 4-5 weeks.

Re-vaccination:

• Every 4 months for pigs and cows
• Every 6 months for goats and sheep.

First vaccination for cattle born to vaccinated mothers:

Inject the whole herd from 2 months of age: Inject 2 shots at intervals of 4-5 weeks.

Re-vaccination:

• Every 4 months for pigs and cows.
• Every 6 months for goats and sheep
