RABISIN VACCINE

INGREDIENTS AND CONTENT

Rabies virus glycoprotein ....................:> = 1 IU

Thiomersal, most ...................: 0.1 mg

Aluminium adjuvant (hydroxide form) ............: 1.7 mg

Excipients q.s for 1 dose in 1 ml

USES

Rabies prevention for dogs, cats, horses, sheep, buffaloes, cows and weasels.

 

INSTRUCTIONS AND DOSAGE

1ml vaccine by subcutaneous injection according to the schedule as follows:

  • Dogs and Cats - First vaccination done from 12 weeks of age * - Repeat according to veterinary regulations
  • Weasel- From 3 months old- Repeat every year
  • Horse- Less than 6 months old: The first injection should be done from 4 months of age **, the second injection should be done 1 month later. From 6 months of age and older: one injection. Repeat every year
  • Buffalo, Cow, and Sheep - Less than 9 months old: The first injection is done from 4 months old ***, the second injection is done at about 9-12 months old. From 9 months of age and older: one injection. Repeat every year

* In the case of a dog or cat being vaccinated before 12 weeks of age, the first vaccination schedule must have one additional injection at 12 weeks of age or older.

** In all cases, the timing of repetition should be in accordance with the laws of each country.

*** For horses, buffaloes, cows or sheep that were vaccinated before 4 months of age, the first vaccination schedule must be vaccinated with 1 additional injection at 4 months of age or older.

CONTRAINDICATION

Do not inject under the skin for the horse

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Vaccinate perfectly healthy animals that have been dewormed for at least 10 days before vaccination

SIDE EFFECTS:

Like other vaccines, hypersensitivity reactions are possible. This is very rare and should treat symptomatically.

Due to the presence of aluminium, sometimes at the injection site may form temporary small nodules.

Overdose (symptoms, emergency, detoxification):

No adverse reactions observed after overdose in animals

 

IMMUNE PROPERTIES

Inactivated vaccines have adjuvants against rabies. After use, vaccines that induce immunity against rabies are demonstrated by aggressive action and the presence of antibodies.

USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

No adverse reactions have been reported in female cattle during pregnancy

Special instructions for the handling of unused product or waste

Vaccines are inactivated, so no special instructions are needed for unused products

Unused waste products or products must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
