INGREDIENTS

Aftovax vaccine contains virus FMD types O,A in inactivated form and absorbed with an immune- adjuvant.

Type O, A.C, Asia 1, SAT 1, SAT 2, SAT 3.

1 dose contains minimum 6PD50 of antigen.

INDICATIONS

For the active immunization of ruminants against virus FMD infection

DOSAGE

- Mix the medicine solution carefully by rotating the bottle before using it about 20 times.

- Subcutaneously.

ADMINISTRATION

First vaccination:

- Inject twice 3 to 4 weeks apart. The first time is done on:

2-week-old animals whose mothers have not been vaccinated

Cattle 2.5 months old whose mothers were vaccinated.

In an epidemic zone, the first injection should be performed on all animals 2 weeks of age, as soon as possible.

Repeat vaccination

Usually, the repeat injection should be done every 6 months, depending on the disease situation and local legislation.
